Sweet Chilli Beef Stir Fry Chinese Style Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 300g beef steak, very thinly sliced 2 Tbsp cornflour 1 Tbsp Chinese five spice 1 red pepper, thinly sliced 3 spring onions, thinly sliced 200ml sweet chilli sauce Method: 1. In a bowl, combine the beef, cornflour and five spice and mix to coat the meat 2. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a wok over high heat until hot 3. Fry the beef until brown, remove from the wok 4. Heat another Tbsp of oil 5. Add the pepper and spring onions and fry for 1 minute, remove from wok 6. Heat the sweet chilli in the wok until piping hot 7. Add the beef, peppers and spring onions and stir 8.
