Exploring Brussels, Belgium 🇧🇪 24 hours in this quaint & historical city

We decided to tag on a quick trip to Brussels after our time in Amsterdam. It was a short 2 hour train ride into this quaint city where we wasted no time to explore its key attractions. We started off at the Church of St. Catherine before hitting the shopping street of Rue Neuve. We sampled the local must-try dish: Moules-frites for lunch and then headed to the opulent Grand Place. One of the best part of the trip was when we stumbled upon the Tin Tin store - one of Dan's favourite childhood book series. We spent the rest of the day window shopping, checking out the Cinquantenaire par, visiting the Atomium and curing our curiosity around the Manneken Pis. We ended our short trip returning to the Grand Place with its golden lights shining bright at night. We were sad to head back to NYC after such a short trip, but we will be returning to Europe for over a month in just a few months. Stay tuned for that epic adventure!
