Edithvale Wetlands - Birds Video XCI Edithvale Wetlands has many birds, these birds I have taken videos are from around the outer bird hide and the 2 story bird hide within the wetlands, a marvelous place to photograph and enjoy the wildlife. This short video displays the Pied Stilt, Eurasian Coot, Grey Teal, Royal Spoonbill, Yellow Spoonbill, Pink-eared Duck and the White-faced Heron. The water level at the wetlands is dropping quickly and it should be good for the migratory birds. Looking forward to this. The Edithvale wetlands bird hide is open between the hours of 1pm – 5pm Saturday & Sunday entry is free, just sign in a book to record your visit and maybe a gold coin donation, the only provision is that there needs to be water, as this wetland is ephemeral at times there is no water and without water the bird life is very scarce, then the bird hide will be closed.
