Interview Date: 11/04/2019 Interviewer: Finchum, Tanya Interview Location: Stillwater, Oklahoma Val Castor, a 1986 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a major in Geography, discusses his long career in storm tracking in Oklahoma. He shares how he came to be employed by Channel 9 along with some of his experiences while tracking tornados. Castor describes his chase truck, changes in the meteorology field, and his preparation for each chase. He also talks about meeting his wife and teaming up with her to help keep people safe during major weather events. This interview was conducted as part of the Spotlighting Oklahoma Oral History Project at the OSU Library.
