Hiren’s Bootcd PE for usb the Ventoy way. There really is no need for this video, plus it is far too long and rambling. The instructions on the Hiren's Website are really very good if you run a Windows OS. I don’t – this is a useful alternative method that works on Windows and Linux for making your Hirens .iso image run from a Bootable USB memory stick. It might as well be said now: This version of Hiren’s Bootcd PE is based on Windows 11 PE. Therefore, this version my not run on computers that do not meet the minimum requirements to run Windows 11. Sadly, this is the only version of Hiren’s BootCD that will run in Ventoy with full functionality. It doesn’t have all the software tools as the old ones, like HBCD 15.2. These are really all very old, but there are some gold nuggets that make 15.2 worth a try. I’ll have to make another video to explain fully. Download. Hiren’s Bootcd PE iso from https://www.hirensbootcd.org and Ventoy from https://www.ventoy.net. Instal & Run – Ventoy. Prepare memory stick using Ventoy. Cut and Paste your Hiren’s Bootcd iso to the Ventoy memory stick. Tip. - Use a USB 3 memory stick and a USB 3 port on the computer for loading .iso images to your stick. It’s a lot quicker but not essential Using your Ventoy/Hirens USB. Connect to a USB 2 port, - it was the only type of port that would work for “booting the usb” on my computer. Then select your boot device during powering up your computer. Methods vary – mine was to press F12 during boot, then select Hard Drive because this was where the Ventoy/Hirens USB appeared. I love Ventoy – adding, deleting, updating .iso images is a breeze. However, I have been a long time user of Easy2Boot for this type of work, and that has served me very well indeed. Good Luck Roger
