There's still a week or so left for you to experience this magical place before most of the leaves are gone, but go as soon as you can. Locket Meadow in located in the inner basin of the San Francisco Peaks near Flagstaff, Arizona. This 3.5 mile (round trip) trail is popular for a reason. Imagine walking through an Aspen Grove so incredible that you can't even believe that it's real. The road to the trailhead is closed, so the price of admission is an additional 6.5 mile round trip on the closed dirt road.
