My name is Vittorio Del Bono Venezze, and I personally created this wine experience for travelers who want to explore the diversity of Tuscan wines. The tour focuses on two of the most important DOCG wine regions in Tuscany: Chianti Classico, renowned for its Sangiovese-based red wines, and San Gimignano is famous for Vernaccia di San Gimignano, a fresh, mineral-driven white wine. 📍 The tour begins in the morning at Piazza Cavalleggeri, a central square in Florence. You will meet our English-speaking wine guide and travel by comfortable minivan. This is a small-group tour, limited to a maximum of 8 wine enthusiasts, to ensure a relaxed and personal experience. Our first stop is a historic winery located in a beautiful Renaissance villa. The estate is organically farmed, using only estate-grown grapes. The terroir is particularly well-suited to Sangiovese, and the winery produces outstanding Chianti Classico wines. After visiting the original 15th-century cellars, you will enjoy a guided tasting in the wine room with our wine expert, featuring: Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva DOCG Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Super Tuscan IGT After time to enjoy the wines, chat with the winery staff, and relax, we continue to our second winery. This boutique estate is run by a young couple, Francesco and Flavia, who also practice organic winemaking.
