During Jesus' ministry He asked the question in Luke 23:31 - if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry? When first hearing that it may not make sense, but if you think about it, a green tree brings life and abundance to its' surroundings and the people and animals in the area. But when a tree is dry, it does not produce anything useful, and life becomes harder and people become more desperate and evil. Now in context, Jesus was warning Jerusalem of the judgment to come, but this warning I believe also applies to the final 7 year tribulation period that is soon to begin. During Jesus' ministry, he sought to get fruit from a Fig Tree when entering Jerusalem, but there was no fruit so He curses it and it withered away, a foreshadow of 70 AD when Jerusalem would be destroyed. Mark 11:13-14 KJV — And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. When the famine hits, the grid fails, money loses its' value, oil and gas are dried up, peace is removed, and the total collapse begins, it is like a tree that has become dry and barren. At this time there is much lawlessness and the tree is still relatively "green," but soon there will be less resources, everything will get tighter and more tense, and lawlessness will increase and catch fire. Likewise, Jesus warned us that because sin would increase many would become cold and without love or compassion during the Tribulation and just before it: Matthew 24:12 KJV — And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. We see it is beginning now, and yet soon, when the Four Horsemen begin to ride, many will say it is better to not have had children, for those who have will see their sons and daughters go through terrors that should not be spoken for they are too evil. Evil men will become even more desperate and evil, and what little light was there will become pitch black. Luke 23:29-31 KJV — For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us. For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry? Jesus knew His fig tree (Israel) was rotten - spoiled by the hypocrite Pharisees, the wicked branches. The bare branches of the fig tree was symbolic of fruitless Israel. Jesus knew the Jews would not accept Him as the Messiah (article here). Therefore, Jesus cursed the fig tree and it withered. This was alluding to the destruction of Israel in 70 AD for not receiving the good news of Jesus I believe. Israel being reestablish in 1948 as a nation means Daniel's 70th Week is soon to begin and so is the appearing of the AntiChrist and the emergence of the satanic One World Order. Afterwards the Messiah Yeshua Jesus will reign to Israel and rule from Jerusalem (Zechariah 14, Revelation 19, Daniel 7). Matthew 24:3 KJV - And as he (Jesus/Yeshua) sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Further on, Jesus/Yeshua (being God in the flesh) speaks of the fig tree blooming as being a sign of His return and the end of the Age: Matthew 24:32-36 KJV — Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. https://trumpetforyahweh.blogspot.com...
