בתום ימי אבלותו של הרב אשר וויס נתן הרב שיעור מיוחד בו הוא מספיד את אביו הגאון הרב משה וויס At the end of the mourning period of Rabbi Asher Weiss, the rabbi gave a special shiur in which he eulogized his father, Rabbi Moshe Weiss הרב אשר זליג וייס, גדול בתורה וגדול בדור (נולד ב-1953) הוא חסיד צאנז-קלויזנבורג. מייסד וראש ישיבת "דרכי תורה", מייסד וראש בית הדין "דרכי הוראה". נולד בארצות הברית למשה וייס, ניצול השואה סוחר נדל"ן ונצר למשפחת רבנים. למד במוסדות חסידות צאנז בארצות הברית. בשנת תשכ"ו עלתה המשפחה לישראל והתגוררה בקריית צאנז בנתניה. בילדותו למד במוסדות צאנז בקריה. בראשית שנות ה-90 כיהן כראש ישיבת "כתר ישראל" של חסידות סדיגורה, ומשנת 1997 הוא משמש ראש ישיבת "מחנה אברהם" של חוג חת"ם סופר בבני ברק ורב קהילת טשכנוב בשכונת רמות ג' בירושלים. במקביל הוא עומד בראש כולל לדיינות ולהכשרת אברכים למורי הוראה בירושלים. בשנת ה'תשס"ו ייסד את ישיבת "דרכי תורה" ומאז הוא עומד בראשה. בשנותיה הראשונות כיהן בה לצדו גם הרב ברוך דב פוברסקי, ראש ישיבת פוניבז'. החל משנת תשע"ג הוא משמש כפוסק של בית החולים שערי צדק. הוא יסד בית דין לדיני ממונות, במסגרתו עוסק רבות בבוררות ויישוב סכסוכים בין שכנים. בפסיקותיו בנושאים אלו מעניק הרב וייס משקל גם לחוק הישראלי זכינו ואחד מגדולי הפוסקים בדורנו, מגיע במיוחד לבית מדרשנו במסירות כל שבועיים בכדי להעביר לנו שיעור בסוגיה הנלמדת! הירשמו לערוץ ושתפו אחרים!
