About Port Edgar ------------------------------------------------- Port Edgar is a marina on the Southern shore of the Firth of Forth, near the town of South Queensferry, in Edinburgh, Scotland. It offers great views of the Queensferry Crossing, Forth Road Bridge and Forth (Rail) Bridge and is an ideal place for taking the drone - it's also outside the flight restriction zone for Edinburgh Airport. The weather was perfect, practically no breeze, bright and sunny (though it also meant that any South-facing shots look dark because of the direct sunlight). Originally a naval base, Port Edgar is now a busy marina with a sailing school and 300 berths.
