Walk 3 on page 35. I wanted to make the walk longer and include Deacon Hill, which wasn't on the original route card. It was easy to follow and not a strenuous walk. Some evaluate when climbing the hills but very manageable. The area is well signposted with good way markers throughout. It is a popular area with walkers. I started and ended at the village of Pirton. Lots of free on-road parking, with no restrictions at the time of filming. I parked opposite the Fox Pub. There are two pubs and a post office in the village. The Fox doesn't open until 3pm on some days. http://www.foxpirton.co.uk/ The other pub in the village does open earlier and serves food. See the website for more details https://themotteandbaileypirton.com/ There is a pub called The View in Pegsdon, this serves food too. If you park at The View, you need to be a customer. They have cameras in their car park. Be careful. The main feature of this walk was the Pegsdon Hills. Here is a helpful website with more information: https://www.wildlifebcn.org/nature-re... If you would like to follow my route, please drop me a message on Instagram, and I'll send over the details.
