A Muddy Hike in Des Moines WA

The sounds of nature & the city combine! Taking a different route to work, I drove past a trail I hadn't seen before. Since I had a little bit of extra time, I decided to pull over and check it out. It was somewhat disappointing...I had to dodge some thick mud on the first part...turning the bend revealed that the trail was pretty much just a wooded alley way behind some suburban houses. But when I reviewed the footage at home, I really liked the sound of the woods; the chirping birds, combined with car and jet noise. The airplane flying overhead and disappearing into the clouds was nice footage. And the walk back allowed me to ponder what it'd be like to be able to afford a $500,000 home south of Seattle!
