Fort Oglethorpe City Commissioner Kicked Out of Seat

By Jerry Askin After a full day of testimony, Fort Oglethorpe city commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday afternoon to kick Charles Sharrock out of his seat.  Sharrock had been accused of sexually harassing three different women.  Today, three city employees  testified claiming they were sexually harassed by Sharrock at their jobs.... Those employees --- Jill :acy, Stephanie Sliger, and Fort O police detective Tammy Davis.  They each testified claiming Sharrock inappropriately hugged and for some even kissed them on the cheek and neck....an uncomfortable feeling for each of them.But Sharrock testified Tuesday, denying he sexually harassed any of them.  Sharrock's attorney  questioned each of those employees, as to why they never took legal action. He says a friendly hug does not constitute sexual harassment and says they're not giving up here. He plans to appeal the vote.
