1.6 Carb CVH (marked with pink paint from Ford) Lobe Lift: 0.229 Valve Lift: 0.366 1.6 HO/EFI CVH (marked with yellow paint from Ford) Lobe Lift: 0.240 Valve Lift: 0.384 (and slightly more duration, how much is unknown) Both are interchangeable without any issues. From a performance standpoint going from the Base 1.6 to the HO 1.6 cam makes no noticeable difference, but there is when paired with the other HO parts (HO carb, headers, and higher compression). I'd say the HO cam is best because you have more meat on the lobes so even though you won't be making any more power than before (assuming everything else is stock) it will take longer for the cam to wear down - meaning you lose less HP over time. Something to note, most 1.6 cams (specifically 1981-1982 cams) like to chew up the exhaust lobe & lifter of #4 because for some odd reason the width of this specific lobe is 1mm narrower than all the other lobes among the same exact camshafts (14.9mm vs 15.9mm). This alone makes the #4 exhaust lobe chew up the lifter faster and round over the lobe's surface faster too.
