Like many people, I recently enjoyed watching The Queen's Gambit. I particularly appreciated the sounds of the chess pieces moving around the board and wanted to try incorporating that into a scene. Given that I am in no way an expert chess player, this scene is meant to evoke a novice, flipping through books on chess strategy and practicing scenarios while enjoying a pot of tea. It's a spring morning, the windows are wide open, the breeze is blowing, and the birds are in full song. A lovely day altogether!
