Exploring the Dreamiest Cotswold Villages

✨ Welcome to Part 3 of our Strawtop Diaries… Today’s vlog is one I’ll treasure, a gentle, joy-filled anniversary spent exploring new corners of the Cotswolds. We started with a soft country morning in 📍 Adderbury, wandering down winding lanes, across secret footpaths, and by streams that dance past the old stone cottages. It felt like walking through a painting. Back at 🏡 Strawtop Cottage, we made a slow brunch with local produce and wandered over to the neighbour’s café for a takeaway flat white before setting off again to explore new-to-us villages and beloved favourites. From the storybook charm of 📍 Chipping Campden, with its honey stone buildings and dreamy independent shops (including the beautiful Sam Wilson Studio), to the timeless streets of 📍 Broadway, where we browsed for treasures and stopped into favourite spots like The Broadway Deli and Home With The Rudds… Later, we made our way through 📍 Stow-on-the-Wold, popped into Cotswold Farm Café for a bite, then ended the day with golden hour in 📍 Lower Slaughter; a peaceful little village I’ve dreamed of visiting for so long. And yes, it’s even more magical in person. It was a slow, lovely day with plenty of laughter, beautiful views, cosy cafés, countryside magic, and so many moments to hold close.
