Beef Stew | Beef Curry - Traditional Mangalorean Recipe This beef stew or curry is prepared using meat and bone together , but here I have used meat with out bones. This stew is made regular back home. The most important thing is to start with the right cut of meat. You can use beef or lamb in the preparations. I love to slow cook it, and serve it with some crust bread. I have only added potatoes, but you can add carrots also to this. It enhances the taste. I love to have this with crusty bread, but it goes well with rice as well as roties also. You can use a pressure cook to fasten the process. List of ingredients 1 kg beef ( you can use lamb also) or meat with bones 3/4 tsp chilly powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 2 onions 1 large tomato Few curry leaves 3-4 green chillies 1 inch piece of ginger 8-9 pods of garlic Salt as per taste Oil as required 1 1/2 tsp coriander seeds 3/4 tsp pepper corns 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp ani seeds/ Saul 4 cardoon pods 1 black cardoon 6 cloves 1/4 pieces star anise 4-5 pieces cinnamon stick 1 small onion 4 pods of garlic Small ball of tamarind 2 potatoes Chopped coriander leaves Tadka Small onion Oil Curry leaves
