Today I explore what Malaysia is really like as I visit some of KL’s most iconic spots — from the River of Life and Masjid Jamek to Merdeka Square, Central Market, Chinatown, and Bukit Bintang. 🇲🇾 Join me as I dive into the heart of Kuala Lumpur for the very first time. I start my journey at the River of Life, one of the most beautiful and historic places in KL, located next to Masjid Jamek, where the city gets its name. From there, I walk to Merdeka Square, a must-visit landmark filled with history and culture. I continue to Central Market, explore the area, and try Malaysia’s national dish nasi lemak for the first time. Next, I head to Chinatown (Petaling Street) to taste the popular Malaysian dessert apam balik, before hopping on the metro at Pasar Seni Station. To finish the day, I explore Bukit Bintang, wander through the shopping streets, and show the famous Pavilion Mall, which is beautifully decorated for Christmas.
