KTM 890 Adventure R, Rent one before you Buy!

We all know how difficult it has been to purchase middle weight adventure bikes during this pandemic. I have had a deposit on a KTM 890 Adventure R and the Norden 901 for some time and now I have one on the T7. I have been struggling with the fact that none of these bikes are available to test ride or to put a leg over. So when my KTM dealer called me a week ago I telling me that I might see one in a couple weeks I felt uneasy. The salesman was trying to to get a commit to the 890R upon its arrival. I'm not even sure I want the bike and it is a lot of money for a bike I may honestly get to ride 3 weeks out of the year. So I searched the internet and found a 890R in Reno Nevada for rent at Nevada Adventure Rentals (NAR) and reserved it for a day. I am so glad I did! After riding this bike in it's intended environment I gained a good understanding for what this bike has to offer. Come along for a ride with me and we will experience it together!
