Crossing the border from Nicaragua to Costa Rica can be a daunting task, but we're here to show you just how terrible it can be. From the long wait times to the confusing official procedures, this border crossing is definitely one to avoid. Watch as we go through the whole process and see just how awful it can be!z Here is a walk-through for exiting Nicaragua and entering Costa Rica with a vehicle (Honda CB500X in my case). Surprisingly this was one of the longest and most frustrating borders in all of my trip so far. Exiting Nicaragua was considerably more complicated than entering, and the amount of time spent on the Costa Rican side were incredible.
