OTL;;; freaking background music.... Ah well.. it's only relatively bad in the beginning. I wanted to keep in all the sound effects, voice overs, yelps and roars in this to try to make it appear as real as possible ^^;; This is for DragonHeart06's Alternate Ending contest.    • What I F . . . [ [ The ' Alternate Ending ...   The contest is create an idea on how to remake a final ending scene to have it end differently, like what would have happened if the hero had been killed, or if they had never found true love etc. I tried making this an alternate ending to better fit to set up for the sequel though x33;; I think adding Zira to the scene though and Sarabi's death helped make this scene darker. I've always kinda wondered though how the movie would have gone if Zira was in the first film. (They hint at it enough in the second movie that Scar/Zira were husband and wife/lovers enough, she would have had to have been there in one place or another.) Scar, frustrated with the lack of food to give to his newly born heir, seeks out Sarabi telling her hunting parties need to find the herds. When she refuses saying that the herds have moved on, and accusing him of being a poor king, Scar attacks her. Simba intervenes, and Scar defends himself by pinning the blame of Mufasa's death on Simba. [movie rolls yada yada..] Fight breaks out when Scar is forced to reveal the outcome of Mufasa's death. Hyenas verses lioness maul in a bloody war, altering the young mother from a cave below pride rock. She sees the fight being lead by a rouge lion. Thinking he is only here to claim her King's throne, Zira rushes to his aid. Seeing another lioness run after the two, Nala also follows them up the cliff side. Cornering Scar atop Pride Rock, Simba starts to tell Scar to leave and never come back. Before he can quote his uncle though, Zira jumps between the two, defending her lover. "These lands belong to Scar!" she yells, not knowing who Simba really is, nor caring for that matter. Nala sees the other lioness about to attack, and she tackles her, straight off the cliff. The two land safely, though they are well out of way of interfering again in the fight. Scar lunges at Simba while his back is turned, concerned more about Nala's safety. The fight continues, Zira cursing from below "Get him. Get him." Scar's luck turns for the worst when Simba kicks him over the side. He falls to his death, at Zira's feet. Torn from shock, she can only whisper his name, though there is no answer in reply. The rain finally starts to pour down quelling the fire though her hatred begins to grow. Simba comes down from the cliff, greeted by Sarabi and Nala, who think the worst is past and Simba can finally reclaim the throne. From behind, Zira reappears, claws bared to kill the newcomer. Sarabi sees her approach however and side steps Simba to take a devastating blow. However this time, the widow does not get up. "What have you done?!" Zira seethes out, blaming Simba solely for Scar's murder, now seeking vengeance. Once more she goes to lunge at him, but the lionesses corner her away from Simba. Simba tells her to let it go, but Zira refuses.Simba, wanting no more blood on his hands (er paws...) but still furious, banishes her from the pride lands. Followed by a few others Zira takes her cubs and leaves, becoming the Outsiders.
