A short video tour of Hemsby and Newport, Norfolk England. As a kid I was taken here by my parents every year from early 70s till 83. I had some of the greatest times of my life here. I can safely say this was the only time I was truly happy as a kid. The place has not changed that much really, except the arcades now rip you off with those pathetic prize voucher things. Hemsby and Newport will always hold a special place in my heart. I go back for 1 day a year each year to see how the place is doing. I always take my camera and snap away. My main focus is the beach at Hemsby, It is so different now. When I was a kid there were 3 huge dune systems between the sea and Beach Rd (I used to get lost in them) now there is less than half a dune!!! I expect that in my lifetime the last bit will go and the sea will wash up onto Beach Rd.
