It’s a tribute, so yes..there’s lots of spoilers...I shouldn’t have to say that but here we are. Dont watch the video or read the context in the description if you don’t want the show to be spoiled. Simple. Video contains mature themes which may not be suitable for all audiences (includes violence and gore). ------- ♥ 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 ♥ NAME CHANGE: As the intro states, my youtube name is changing to Valkyrja soon. When I upload my next video, this change will have been made. I am notifying my subscribers in advance so everyone knows it's me! 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗫𝗧 (major spoilers warning - duh): Haven’t seen the show? Here’s a little context to help you understand this tribute better! General Context: Portia Lin (otherwise known as 2) is the leader/captain of “The Raza”, an infamous space ship of ruthless mercenaries. In episode one it is revealed during statis all of the crew’s memories were wiped, forcing them to forget about their past. They named themselves based on the order they woke up in, making Portia now known as Two. Before calling herself two she was known as Rebecca. She was engineered in a laboratory owned by “Dwarf Star Industries”. She is essentially an android, but with human components like a heart, liver, brain, etc. She feels human emotions and pain among other things and is very much alive. After escaping the testing facility she renamed herself “Portia Lin” and became one of the most well known and ruthless mercenaries in the galaxy. Video Specific Context: (1:14-1:45) Derrick Moss was a member of the Raza, and a friend to Portia/2. Before his memory was wiped he believed that a member on the Raza (Marcus Boone, otherwise known as three) had killed his wife. He undertook the identity of Jace Corso, someone that was planning to join the Raza. He completely stole his identity, including hiring a plastic surgeon to make his face identical to Corso’s. He joins the crew of the raza and plots his revenge on Boone but before he can kill him his memories are wiped. Later in the show, Corso kills Moss, and Portia gets revenge. (1:48-2:20) Wexler (the man in the air lock) tried to kill 2 in a previous episode by spacing her out the same air lock. Because she isn’t fully human, she was able to save herself. When she comes back in the next episode, she puts him in the airlock for questioning. After getting the answer she wanted she decides to space him. (2:30-2:48) One of the members on the Raza was a mole for a group called “The Galactic Authority” (essentially, space police). He ended up turning in the crew, carrying out his mission. Because of this, they ended up in prison. They escaped shortly after. This scene doesn’t add much, but I wanted to show off that their crew is famous, and Portia is a well known criminal. (2:56-3:34) 5 describes what happened to Portia in the laboratory. In this particular episode she had her memories again, but had no recollection of her time without her memories. 2 was gone and had been replaced with Portia, and 5 wanted her back. —— Hands down this show is honestly one of the best things i’ve ever watched. I’d highly recommend it, it’s super good. Something to keep in mind though is that it ends on a cliffhanger and ended up being cancelled. This really sucks, but it is what it is. I hope one day to see a revival or a reboot but i’m unsure that we’ll ever get one. I wanted to make this edit because I especially love Portia/2’s character. She’s a total bad ass and I just over all really love her story arc. I have plans to make more edits with this show so I hope this one is enjoyable! I had fun making it. Im sad about the audio being weird in some places, but I promise in future edits this will get better. I’m fully switching over to professional editors soon which means i’ll finally be able to utilize 6ch/5.1 which my current editor doesn’t support.
