LIVE WATCH - State v. Kohberger - Defense 4th and 5th Motions to Compel - Attorney Analysis

This hearing was held on May 30, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. concerning Bryan Kohberger's motion to compel the State to produce a number of items of discovery relating to the State's evidence of his whereabouts on the night of November 13, 2022, including the FBI's final CAST report. This hearing follows on the hearing held last week on May 23, 2024 when we heard testimony from Moscow Police Detective Lawrence Mowery, who conducted the digital forensic investigation and prepared visual maps for the grand jury from Mr. Kohberger's cellular location data. However, that hearing left us with many more questions than answers, as Mr. Mowery did not save his work, lost several files that he only later recovered from the FBI, and it's not clear why he was tasked with the grand jury preparation instead of the FBI (whose cellular location analysis supported the original arrest and search warrants in the case).
