Next we leave you the description of the release_ BOOM ! We are kicking off 2025 in dark and noisy territories with our new release series. The 1st offering is “Coping Mechanism” a collaborative project stemming from the original track of EVE SCHWARZ - bringing along the gritty soundscapes of Berlin noise and industrial techno scenes into a mechanical forward-thinking ammunition of devastating rhythms, featured by Canadian noise-engineer DOLGENER, here on menacing vocals duties recalling the darker overlaps between industrial metal and power electronics. A very unique collaboration between these two. And because the party started oh so well already, we both agreed to invite more friends from Berlin - this is why Tresor resident LIZA AIKIN and Hands label affiliate TEMPLER joined the mission, respectively with some very personal reinterpretations of bleak, hypnotizing and rhythm-focused compositions. Liza Aikin presents a four-on-the-floor military-like dancefloor wormhole while Templer strikes with his harsh syncopated drum signature. As drips of sweat start to rain below the rusty ceilings, you can hear Paris-based producer/dj SUBSTENCIA remix with her eerie dark ambient-layered technoid aesthetic. But while for some “the party never ends”, here we reasonably decided to close this opus with Mutant Modality founder and Brussels-based artist, OTTOMAN GRÜW conveying a very personal “vocal remix” filled with atmospheric chaos, a Techno-EBM dancefloor banger for the dystopian goth club. Eve Schwarz : “This track is a pure emotional outburst (...) - a moment of letting loose when things start to get frustrating (which happens quite a few times in the learning process). There is no rules, no structure, no concept. I sent my noise to my friend Martin (Dolgener) in Canada and he screamed on top, no words, lyrics, script. Just vibes.
