Rio Verde or Green River is a town in San Luis Potosi that hides a paradise known as La Media Luna or The Half Moon, follow us in this video to discover it. Continue reading the description of this video to get all the links of the places we recommend you. *What to do in Rio Verde Mexico -Despite being a small town, Rio Verde has several natural attractions you can go to when in San Luis Potosi. The main one is of course the Media Luna spring, but there are also two grottoes, one is The Cathedral and the other one is The Angel, so if you're planning to visit Rio Verde, make sure you have enough time to visit them. *Where to stay in Rio Verde -There are quite a few hotels in Rio Verde, since it is an intermediate destination between the upper area and the Huasteca Potosina, we stayed at the Hotel El Molino and we highly recommend it to you, it's comfortable and very clean. If you would also like to stay here, you can make your reservation through this link: https://booki.ng/2pTWvxu *What to eat in Rio Verde -We found a fantastic restaurant here called El Rincón de los Sabores, it's inexpensive and the food has a traditional regional taste. We highly recommend it, it's in downtown Rio Verde and they serve the dishes really nicely. *How to get to Media Luna -From downtown Rio Verde, take the road that goes to the city of San Luis Potosi, there you will find an avenue called Media Luna, go through there and continue driving straight until you get to the Spring, we recommend that you follow these indications or ask the people of Rio Verde, if you follow what your GPS tells you, you'll get lost like we did. *What to do in Media Luna -We suggest you spend the whole day here, enjoying the hot springs. There are a few activities you can do like diving or riding an inflatable raft that you can rent there. It is also allowed to camp, you just have to follow the safety directions and respect nature. *What to eat in Media Luna -Usually if you're going camping, you take food to prepare yourself, but if you're only visiting like we were, there are a couple of options in a food court that offer Mexican dishes, fried food, and hamburgers, don't expect to find any salad or fruit, if you want to eat healthy, you'll have to take your own food. The Media Luna Spring is an excellent place to get away for a whole weekend, you can visit all year round. We hope our advice and recommendations can help you plan your trip to San Luis Potosi.
