A lot of white farm ducks are named Allen... I think. He has a yearning for human-type experiences. Riding a bike sings to him so he steals a kid's bike and rides it around. Then he convinces every animal on the farm to steal all of the neighborhood kids' bikes while they're inside visiting the farmer's kids. Obviously, there was some damage to the bicycles and many of the children had to walk home. But that's left out of the story to encourage the fun of bicycle theft as a someday occupation. The second story is about grand theft auto nearly. Allen decides in this book to steal the farmer's tractor. Any other being climbing onto a vehicle, starting the motor up, and driving away would be called a criminal, but for a duck, no one cracks a frown. He spreads the guilt lightly over everyone else by involving every one of the other farmyard animals in his scheme. Peer pressure gets the best of them and even the sheep leaps through the air to become an accomplice. Not only do they steal the tractor but they also burn all of the farmer's fuel up joyriding through the middle of town. The moral of the story in this book is that it's okay to steal as long as you abandon the item when its usefulness has played out and you just run away. It's NOT wrong... if you don't get caught.
