What an unforgettable day! After my videos about visiting a Filipino supermarket in California went viral, I got invited back by the owners for a once-in-a-lifetime experience: they let me buy ANYTHING I wanted, from groceries to their freshly prepared food at their in-store turo-turo! It felt surreal to be treated like family in a place that already reminded me so much of the Philippines. We didn’t stop there! With our Filipino feast packed to-go, we headed to beautiful Newport Beach for an incredible boat ride. Our adventure continued at Huntington Beach, where we stumbled upon a vibrant farmers market. While exploring, I met some amazing Filipino fans, including one vendor who recognized me and shared their delicious products with us. It was so heartwarming to connect with fellow Filipinos and see the community thriving in such a unique setting. To end the perfect day, we hit up Taco Tuesday for some classic California flavors—because why not mix things up after all the Filipino food?
