The LEDLB-4E-UV-365NM from Larson Electronics is an UV LED Light Bar that offers high light output and extreme durability combined with versatile mounting and power options. This IP68 rated LED light bar is waterproof to three meters and produces ultraviolet 365nm light while drawing only 12 watts of power @ 1.08 amps from a 12 volt electrical system. This light can run on any voltage from 9 to 42 volts DC and provides an extremely rugged lighting solution that is ideal for use in commercial marine environments as well as industrial and manufacturing applications such as machine vision system lighting, heavy equipment illumination, blasting lighting and mining operations. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking.
