Cambridge Half Marathon 2026 #jaynjoy #ttpcambridgehalfmarathon " When your legs get tired, run with your heart." Our son went home last Friday as he will be joining the Cambridge Half Marathon. His time is 9:46am. We left the house at 8:30am and parked at Grafton Centre. It's about 5-7 minutes' walk to the assembly point. He said they started around 10 am already. After seeing him around Victoria Avenue, we headed to the Fitzwilliam Museum area in Trumpington street. Jay gave him another lucozade when we saw him. Then, we headed back to the finish line area. On our way there, we stopped at John Lewis shop to use the toilet. At the finish line, Jay positioned himself after the finish line arch while I positioned myself before or in front of the finish line arch. So sad that I wasn't able to take a video of our son while he's passing by at the finish line arch as there was a lady infront of me and it's too late when I saw our son. I just called him to take a picture in front of the arch. After getting his t-shirt, medal, and a goody bag, we met and chatted for a while before heading to Yippee Noodle Bar for lunch. He said he had a cramp on mile 14, so he decided to alternate the running with walking. In any case, we are still proud of him for another achievement. This is his 2nd time in Cambridge, but in total, this is his 5th half marathon. Welldone and congratulations to all who joined this year Half Marathon. You ate all amazing.
