Ather Energy introduced India to high quality performance electric scooters and ever since, it has been the gold standard for its kind in the country. Several have tried to dethrone it, many have come close, none have succeeded. So, when Ola Electric, another unknown electric player, decided to take the 450X on and better it with not only improved performance and more range, but also with fancy features and a lower price tag, we were intrigued for sure. However, the S1 Pro was far from being the seamless transition from ICE to EVs that most were hoping for. There were a lot of bugs, glitches and mishaps that soured the mood. So, when the company sent us a test unit with the new Move OS 2.0, which claims to have ironed out major software bugs, we surely had to pit it against the 450X.
