How to Make Rellenong Saba ✅ Ingredients Canola oil 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced ½ pound ground pork 1 tablespoon soy sauce Salt and pepper to taste 8 to 10 pieces saba bananas, ripe but firm Coating mixture ½ cup flour ½ cup water ✅ Instructions In a pan over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Add onions and garlic. Cook until softened. Add ground pork. Cook until lightly browned. Add soy sauce and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue to cook until most of the liquid is absorbed and the pork is cooked through. Remove from heat and cool completely. Peel the saba bananas and make an incision on one side. Stuff with pork filling. Set aside. In another pan over medium heat, add about 2 inches deep of canola oil. Heat oil to 350°F. In a bowl, add flour and water. Stir to combine. Top saba bananas with the batter. Fry bananas in batches until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and transfer to a wire rack. Thanks for watching!
