The Beijing train station is the busiest transportation hub in China, with many railway trunks passing through the city. Traveling to and from the city by train is very convenient, every day over seven-hundred trains run to and fro, linking the city with almost every corner of the country. There are several high-speed trains shuttling daily between Beijing and major destinations such as Shanghai, Xian, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Harbin. In addition, there are inter-city bullet trains between Being and Tianjin, whose running time is about half an hour.
