Here in Spencer, NC at the NC Transportation Museum is The Polar Express! (One of my absolute favorite childhood Christmas events!) First we begin at the Roundhouse on the south end of the Museum which will be the North Pole for the event this evening. Second location is at Barber Junction Station where I catch most of the action into the night. They had both Southern units running this evening due to the massive crowd that showed up for the occasion which was a real treat to see. Towards the ending scene was the first night train of the evening where they do the reenacting from the movie. Was a really great event to attend thanks to the NC Transportation Museum for hosting!
