The first piece I've worked out how to play after an 8 year break from playing piano: I know this performance has a few shoddy moments, but it's bloody hard to film for 5 minutes solid without cocking up once. I'm still rusty but hopefully future ones will get better. A rough 'how to play' The whole thing is in A Major Key. Intro goes: F#A F#A EB EBBE DADA AE AEEA F# C# F# C# G#E G#EEG# AEAEAEA The right hand doesn't move far away from the A major chord- starts on A & I'm sure you can work it out from there. The reason i'm restarting piano lessons is because my left hand is terrible so only plays octaves & 8ths in this cover. Chords for verses & most of the song post intro are as follows: On the way down: F# E D A On the way up; Low F# G# (playi G# E G#, NOT E flat) & then A. & after the verse "& it goes in, in out through the mouth" A G# F# E Then octaves on D The A, E Chords for "And I can see a flashlight cutting up the trees behind my house.." Then A D A E A D then loops back to the verse. All the same after that aside from the bridge which goes. Bridge goes: "And I will read the flashing like a morse code explanation..."
