We went to your school first, then came home to rest while Babah went to work. In the evening, Mommy prepared some snacks, and we stopped by Aldi to get your milk. There was no small carton of full cream milk, so we just decided to go anyway. We went to Carrum Beach, the same beach where we celebrated your birthday before. The weather was beautiful sunny skies, but cold wind. We played at the playground first while deciding where to put our things, then we went to the sand and water. You loved it so much. You didn’t want to stop playing, even when you started shivering. Mommy and Babah had to stop you gently. We wanted to rinse the sand off you, but the showers were too cold, so we cleaned you up as best as we could and went home together to shower. It was an unplanned day, but sometimes the most beautiful memories come from moments we never planned. Always, Mommy 🤍
