Each year we broker paid internships for our students. In their first year our founding cohort completed internships with organisations ranging from innocent Drinks to B Lab. We broker these internships on behalf of our students because we think that (a) it's important for students to gain more insight into what they may or may not want to do, before graduation; (b) it'll enhance their employability (who doesn't want a graduate with substantial experience?); and (c) our students genuinely have something to offer to organisations. The learning that our students do is directly applicable to the world outside of higher education. In essence, these internships are explicitly designed to produce shared value.
