Silent hiking video about backpacking 55 miles on the Minong Ridge Trail in Isle Royale National Park, Michigan. Isle Royale is a remote island wilderness in Lake Superior, known for its isolation, rugged trails, and the longest running wolf moose study in the world. Accessible only by ferry or seaplane, it’s one of the least visited national parks in the U.S. The Minong Ridge Trail is considered the most challenging and least traveled trail on the island. It follows exposed ridgelines, dense forests, and rocky terrain, offering panoramic views of Lake Superior and a true backcountry experience.
