In this intense courtroom docket, Judge Raquel West handles a string of serious cases — from assault on a peace officer and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, to fraud, resisting arrest, and evading arrest with a vehicle. The hearing opens with Precious Eaglin, charged with assault on a peace officer and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her lawyer asks for more time to review newly received video evidence, and Judge West tells her exactly what she has to do: call her lawyer, go to his office, and watch the evidence so she understands her options. Moments later, Eaglin asks to address the court about her drug use. She breaks down, explaining the loss of her mother and admitting she’s going to test positive for PCP after relapsing following two years clean. Judge West calmly asks, “What are you going to test positive for?”, confirms she did not drive to court, and has her sit in the jury box so someone can come talk to her and decide what to do next. Next up is James Lawton, facing a motion to revoke probation in a family-violence strangulation case. His lawyer and the probation officer recommend continuing him on probation with the possibility of ISF (Intermediate Sanction Facility), so Judge West arranges to take his plea and order an updated pre-sentence report to decide his fate at a later date. The docket keeps moving: Alexander Thornton is charged with second-degree fraudulent use or possession of credit/debit cards. Judge West explains that a guilty verdict at trial means 2–20 years in prison, and that the State has offered a 4-year prison deal. He chooses to reject the offer, and she sets his case on the trial docket. Darren Carter, who already pleaded to a Class A misdemeanor resisting arrest, returns for sentencing and gets 30 days in the county jail, with credit for time already served. Antonio Sanchez pleads guilty to evading arrest or detention with a vehicle. Judge West follows the agreement for 5 years of deferred probation and a $500 fine, warning him he must follow all rules and conditions. She resets his case for a pre-sentence report so probation can gather more information before final sentencing. Kelton Heibert, also charged with evading arrest with a vehicle, gets a reset while his attorney hunts down missing recordings that were never provided to the District Attorney’s office. If you’re into real courtroom drama, drug confessions in open court, and a judge who clearly explains every option and consequence, this video with Judge Raquel West is a must-watch. 👍 Like if you think she handled these cases fairly 💬 Comment what YOU think should happen in the PCP and fraud cases 🔔 Subscribe for more real courtroom moments with Judge Raquel West Hashtags: #JudgeRaquelWest #CourtroomDrama #RealCourt #PCPRelapse #AssaultOnOfficer #EvadingArrest #DeferredProbation #TexasCourt #JusticeSystem
