The fact that they can single handedly eliminate my fungus gnat problem in my grow tent is just like a huge cherry on top. These Mexican Butterworts are incredible plants. They eat all the fungus gnats and fruit flies they can catch. The sticky substance that the plants secretes has a "Rotten" smell that attracts the fruit flies and fungus gnats. This smell is not detectible with the human nose, so it's not something you have to worry about.
