Marzieh Ebrahimi Portrait | OlisART

Marzieh Ebrahimi is an Iranian woman and survivor of the serial acid attacks on women in Esfahan in 2014. At least 8 such attacks have occurred in Esfahan at that time. One woman died and many more have severe burns to their faces and hands. Marzieh Ebrahimi lost one of her eyes and one half of her face is covered with scars. The Iranian regime has never arrested those who attacked her and other ladies with acid! After these attacks Marzieh Ebrahimi turned to politics and activism. She was featured as one of the strongest activists who moved the Iranian government to pass a law against acid attacks in January 2019. She has a photographer following her as she fights for laws against acid attacks to help bring publicity to the fight.
