The pathless path is the effortless recognition that the seeker is already one with their destination and end goal. There is no linear line that takes us to what we already are. The pathless path embodies absolute truth by pointing directly to the truth of our being, often through pure awareness and radical insight. In this video, I explore the meaning of the pathless path as well as its paradoxical relationship with the more “structured path.” The structured path teaches a technique or a method to follow. It offers a step-by-step progressive process of purification to take one to the end goal. Both paths are equally valid and have their place in our world. This video explores why we are drawn to a particular path and discusses which spiritual traditions may be considered more “pathless path” and which ones are more “structured.” Finally, I reflect on my personal thoughts regarding both paths and how my own journey is unraveling.
