The second record, after the debuting demo of this side-project of Lord Bakartia from Bizkaia. Lord Bakartia continues to explore in this project the intersection of lo-fi black metal, depressive and atmospheric soundscapes, a style that Hiányzol has taken for himself. However, this release delves deeper into the emotional and textural nuances of depressive black metal, with ambient influences subtly woven into the fabric of the music. This creates a haunting and immersive experience as if the listener is drawn into a world of bleak beauty and introspective darkness. One of the most striking aspects of this album is its balance. While the production maintains a lo-fi aesthetic it never sacrifices clarity or depth. The guitars retain a raw, abrasive quality, but they are layered with atmospheric melodies that add a sense of melancholy and longing. This duality is where Lidercnyomás truly shines, it further captures the rawness and despair of depressive black metal while also offering moments of serene introspection through ambient passages with more intricate melodies. The album does take occasional detours into more languid, doom-like structures more frequently than before, allowing the weight of the music to fully sink in. The songs are more ornamented, with a cleaner aesthetic but still blending the lo-fi atmospheric, depressive black metal elements into a seamless whole.
