Cyathea Falls is located within the Tarra Valley Picnic Ground at the Southern end of Tara Bulga National Park. There is ample parking, toilets and several picnic tables located among the towering ferns and along the Tarra River. The walk to the falls itself is fairly easy and is a1.5km return along a designated path and there are some steps involved. Following and crossing the river on a few occasions and less than half way to the falls, you will come to an intersection where you have the choice of either taking the East track or West track to the falls. Cyathea falls is only a small, moderated waterfall but the walk among the giant tree ferns and lush rainforest makes the journey very enjoyable.
