WDL Aviation is a Cologne base ad-hoc charter company. While they airline operated Fokker 27 cargo aircraft alongside their BAe 146 for passenger flights, the airline now focuses on passenger business. In the past WDL flew for various carriers with their BAe 146. After Air Berlin ceased operations in October 2017, easyJet announced to fill the gap Air Berlin left in Berlin-Tegel by opening a new base. In the beginning easyJet's Tegel-base in 2018 several airlines are used as subcharters on EZY-flights. WDL is operation a total of 3 BAe 146 for EZY (2x -200, 1x -300). Since the BAe 146 was produced in 1980s and early 1990s, the aircraft is aging and most airlines already them by modern equipment.
