Bangor to Belfast With NI Railways

A day out in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is never a bad thing. We took the train (NI Railways) from Bangor to Belfast and back. We love using public transit when we travel abroad; trains, buses, coaches, ferries. At home in Canada we drive everywhere as train travel is expensive and infrequent in our area. Yes, it takes a little more planning when you use public transit rather than renting a car and yes, sometimes you have to pack you patience, but we really enjoy it. For us, a day out in Belfast always includes a stop at Black Sheep Coffee, a visit to City Hall, a browse at St George's Market, a leisurely walkabout, shopping, and a Guinness (or two or...) at any one of a number of amazing pubs.
