Come along with me as we explore a beautiful part of Garo Hills- from the colourful Wangal festival to the calm and green surroundings of Aloe Vera and Darechikgre!✨ The Wangala Festival, also known as the 100 Drums Festival, is a powerful cultural celebration of Garo tribe, where they honour Misi Saljong, the Sun God, and spirits through dance and music . It also carries deep spiritual and ancestral significance - the Garos belive in honoring their ancestors and departed souls, thanking them for their protection and guidance in life and death🕊️. I attended Day2, where they performed 50 drums performance, traditional dance , expo, and cultural showcases filled with rhythm, colour and pride. Later, we visited Aloe Vera 🌊 surrounded by lush greenery, and ended the day at Darechikgre 🌄, a peaceful and scenic spot perfect for relaxing and ending the day with the view ✨.
