Domino is currently on Day 6 of his treatment for E.Cuniculi. His treatment includes Metacam for pain and anti inflammatory purposes, antibiotics (Baytril) and Panacur wormer for treating the parasite. In this short time has improved slightly, however it is common for E.C rabbits to get worse before they get better, so you have to take each day as it comes. Domino first showed signs of E.C very drastically, with head twitching and jerking with rolling eyes, however many rabbits show symptoms slowly, poor sight, cataracts, head tilt, being wobbly, if your rabbit has any of these symptoms they must be taken to the vet straight away as any delay, even a day could drastically reduce your rabbits chance of recovery.
