Hiking the Goat's Bluff/Big Bluff Trail in Arkansas!

At 550 feet, this is the highest bluff between the Appalachians and the Rockies. The trail goes along the top third of the bluff and averages about 350-400 feet above the Buffalo National River below. Before I go any further with his description, I would NOT recommend this trail with children, or even with dogs. The path can be roughly 3-5 feet wide in some places, with several hundred feet of a drop below, so please use caution and wisdom when hiking here. We went Sunday afternoon, October 30th. It was overcast and drizzling all day, but the sun did peak out a few times making the colors really pop. The hike is roughly 6 miles there and back, with an elevation difference of 1076 feet.
