Various artists from across the region showcased their talent, hoping to secure roles in the grand open-air theatrical celebration. Today, the final results were officially announced at the District Collector’s Office. Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Shri Mahendra Mahapatra declared the names of the selected artists for the upcoming Dhanu Yatra. The most awaited announcement came as Sushil Meher was selected for the prestigious and powerful role of King Kansa, the central character of Dhanu Yatra. His performance, expressions, and command over the character impressed the selection committee. During the announcement, Dhanu Yatra Committee Secretary Sureshwar Satapathy, along with the Nizarat Officer, were present and provided important insights into the selection proceedings. They congratulated the selected artists and expressed confidence that this year's Dhanu Yatra will be even more grand, disciplined, and culturally enriching. With the selection process completed, preparation for the world-renowned Dhanu Yatra now enters its next exciting phase, building anticipation among thousands of devotees, art lovers, and visitors.
